¹⁵ But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their ^[a]reckless and willful sins, ^[b]leaving them, letting them go, and ^[c]giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.

¹⁶ And whenever you are fasting, do not look gloomy and ^[d]sour and ^[e]dreary like the hypocrites, for they put on a dismal countenance, that their fasting may be apparent to and seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward ^[f]in full already.^(A)
